The new sports centre was planned in Shichigahama. In most cases, a sports centre is established for townspeople's health promotion purpose and 'Shichigahama Kokusaimura" is successfully organised as a cultural facility, to activate the communication with urban neighborhood.

The position of volume and form of the function of each zones are decided on the site because of the complicated shape. To express the diversity of this centre is intended to remove a uniformity of the public facilities. Utilising the difference of elevation, by connecting the two squares with the amphitheater, the facilities zones such as public offices and the sports zone such as a soccer stadium were connected. By centering the information on the second floor, bade zone on the west, fitness studio of the east, training room and arena are connected on the same level.

In taraso using the seawater, providing a half outdoor space which continues to the pine grove by releasing the door, and in bade zone, the windows have been established toward the sea. The arena is a oval shape, containing 400 seats, the running of the stand. In the relaxation room of the third floor, roof hard garden sequence to the view of sea, which is also enjoyable from the restaurant, the access is directly opened for anyone utilized the advantage of location.
In these three projects in Shichigahama, I could participate with the program making, and advanced the design through repeated workshops. "Kokusaimura" which has already opened has been evaluated, and the result has appeared in various points.
