Madoka Arahama previously located near to Sendai bay area. Unfortunately, it was destroyed badly by 311 tsunami. After the effort both finding funding and new location, it has been rebuild in the city area. The interior space has flexible planning and the main circulation has 3.6m width, which can be hold many events as a multi purpose space. Orthogonal to this wide circulation, there are three spaces, such as bakery workspace, Cultural workshops, offices and cade. This architecture has been built for the disabled people to work in the day time and has communication with local people buy selling and bread they made at their cafe.

Considering our disaster-relief work, we cared about two points construction speed and contribution to local industry. Structure plan has show the character of rafter structure of the roof and organised one system can apply whole the architecture. According to interior space, there are only two structure span 3.6m and 5.4m, therefore we can reduce the detailed parts of the construction. Wooden materials came form the local wooden-yard. Interior wall has finishing of the local Yagu Washi (Japanese traditional paper). The floor material was given as a gift from foreign country for this disaster relief projects.
